The S.T.A.C.I.E. Foundation is a transition. Although this is bitter sweet, the Wings of Hope Crisis and Resource Center will not be opening. God has closed the door. However, this is a time of rejoicing. We are very excited to see where the Lord will take us next. Our  soul mission of the organization is Prison Ministry. The Lord has given us a familiar, yet, new direction we are praying about and working on, which we will be sharing soon.

A Time for Everything!

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 gives us a new perspective to the seasons in our life. There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.

A Time to be Born and Time to Die – We often believe we’ve been given a purpose only to discover that plan has been thwarted. A time to be born and a time to die. It was meant to be birthed but not for the reason we think and perhaps not for the reasons we believed.

A Time to Plant and a Time to Uproot – We believed we were to plant the Wings of Hope Crisis and Resource Center. Now we know it’s time to uproot the planting of WHCRC. Perhaps another time. Perhaps another place. Perhaps not.

A Time to Kill and a Time to Heal – Dreams are born and dreams die. It’s important we understand the lessons being taught, and allow ourselves time to heal from the disappointments. If we learn nothing from the lessons, what was the point?

A Time to Tear Down and a Time to Build – Renovating the building for the Crisis and Resource Center was tiring, exciting, disappointing, and yet rewarding. Letting go is difficult, challenging, and bittersweet. It’s tiring to keep up with life’s challenges, facing disappointments, hurts, and struggles. Surrender! Can we let flow from our hands what we have fought so desperately to hang on to? Why?  The lesson here is when we surrender all of ourselves to the Lord, He not only renews our strength, our hope and our faith, but we have opened the closed door for Him to rebuild our brokenness to serve Him wholeheartedly for the journey He’s called us to walk. It’s not always easy letting go. But He will rebuild.

A Time to Weep and a Time to Laugh – Hindsight it often times 20/20. In the midst of the chaos, we can’t see the calm. Defeat comes hard. We want desperately to please. Rejection hurts and our pride suffers. As it should. Our pride creeps in and it becomes all about us. We’ve left no room for Christ. What changed, and when? We have to decide to walk away from it, leaving it in the hands. He has a bigger and better plan. Looking back in time, we can laugh.

A Time to Mourn and a Time to Dance – So do we stand amidst the mire and muck and give up? Or do we step out, shake it off and rejoice. There was a blessing in disguise. How did we miss it? We have been relieved of this matter and a weight has been lifted. This is not a time to mourn, this is a time to dance and rejoice in the Lord!

A Time to Scatter Stones and a Time to Gather Them – As we prepared to gather the items for the Crisis and Resource Center, we found every need was met. We often stood in awe as all this came together. It was a time of gathering. Many gave unselfishly to our cause and we graciously thank you all. That season has ended. Now it’s time to scatter the stones and step back as we watch the Lord rebuild the foundation, stone by stone. We have to open our hearts and our hands to receive the blessings the Lord wants to give us.

A Time to Bless and a Time to Refrain – It’s hard to say no to what seems so right. We reaped blessing upon blessing as the Lord brought forth funds, material items, and volunteers. Somewhere we discovered our train had derailed. Where did we get off track? It’s hard to pinpoint the exact moment, but nonetheless, we did. It became all about us. Where was God in this picture? We were blinded by our pride that ultimately became the driving force behind the Crisis Center. This was a hard pill to swallow. But swallow we did.

A Time to Search and a Time to Give Up – Seeking God’s will became our #1 priority. Nothing else was going to get us back on track. Without, we were doomed. We had to know what He wanted. Pridefulness knocked us off God’s foundation. There was no question as to the next step. Seek God’s forgiveness. Pray!

A Time to Keep and a Time to Throw Away – We heard the Lord saying to clean house. This meant letting go of so many unsuccessful ideas and attempts to control our destiny. We went through and discarded so much unnecessary burdens. It was a relieve to let go and let God.

A Time to Tear and a Time to Mend – We are a broken world. We seem to think we can fix our own problems. We don’t always need to the Lord to intervene. These are lies we believe. We do need a Savior who can and is willing to intervene. He has given us freewill to make the choice to seek Him. Are we so broken we are beyond repair? Only if we rely on ourselves or put our trust in humanity rather than the Lord. Only He can mend the hurts and sufferings.

A Time to be Silent and a Time to Speak – The Lord calls us into our prayer closet to spend time with Him, sitting in silence to hear what He’s so excited to tell us. Are we listening? Not usually. We are far too busy to give Him too much of our precious time. We found ourselves in this mission impossible. Silence is golden when you at last hear His voice. Do you know the Shepherd’s voice?

A Time to Love and a Time to Hate – The Lord’s voice brings peace and comfort. The liar brings confusion and strife. Hate evil, love the Lord. He knows the plans He has for us.

A Time for War and a Time for Peace – The liar wants war. He wants us totally defeated. The Lord is peace, tranquility, security, freedom and hope. Hope springs eternal. We can’t give into deception. We can give into Faith.

There is a Time for Everything and a Season for Every Activity Under the Son.

May you reap blessings from our Lord.
