Our Annual Isaac Miller Memorial Bike – Run – Walk Fundraiser, held August 18, at Roger Nisbet Park in Loveland, OH was a success on Saturday. Thank you to all who came out and participated. Our total miles rode, ran and walked were 357! Great job everyone.

The 9th Annual S.T.A.C.I.E. Foundation Isaac Miller Memorial Bike – Run – Walk Fundraiser event raises awareness of victims of trauma. Stacie and Isaac are two victims of murder.

Our mission: Our Mission: To promote healing and offer hope to survivors of violent crime.

“My son, Isaac, was too young to understand the foundations mission when he participated in the first three bike ride events. But he was there. He was murdered in December 2013. The S.T.A.C.I.E. Foundation was there for me.” John – Isaac’s dad.

As with the history of the S.T.A.C.I.E. Foundation, our event is to remember those lost to violence. The Isaac Miller Memorial Bike – Run  -Walk Event is in memory and tribute to Stacie, Isaac and all victims of crime. Isaac was a precious young vibrant 14 year old boy who loved adventure, and was loved by all. Isaac participated in several S.T.A.C.I.E. Foundation fundraisers over the past several years. Tragically, Isaac and Stacie were brutally murdered. Isaac would have celebrated his 19th birthday August 13. Isaac participated in our very first Bike Fundraiser held in 2010 in Newtown, OH. Isaac participated in many of our events and we miss him terribly. August 21 we will celebrate Stacie’s 36th birthday without her.

Here’s a letter from John, Isaac’s dad on his son’s birthday…

Today is August 13. Today is Isaac W. Miller’s Birthday. Today, we should be celebrating 19 trips around the Sun. Instead, today, I will be isolating. I still very much struggle with forgiveness. Some will say that forgiveness is not possible, or perhaps not even appropriate when someone has lost a Loved One, a Child, an Only Child to unspeakable violence. I do understand. I choose to disagree. But that does not mean that forgiveness comes easy, or even that it necessarily comes at all.

The S.T.A.C.I.E. FOUNDATION is essentially about forgiveness. And I need their help. And they need YOUR help, which is why you’ve seen these posts from me on a daily basis since this campaign started. Please help. You can make a financial contribution. People from all over the world have come to bike or walk or run, but my Heart has been most touched by the People who live very far away and cannot be there in person, but who still have chosen to help by participating in this campaign–getting a shirt, or just posting a pic or a video of themselves, biking or walking or running in memory of Isaac, or of anyone else lost to violent crime. Today I implore Your consideration for doing something–any of the suggestions I listed above. Please be certain that whatever You can do does indeed help. It helps the S.T.A.C.I.E. FOUNDATION. It helps me. And don’t be too surprised to discover that it just might help You, too.

I miss my Son.

John Miller

I believe James C, says it best… “I donate to help my soul friend in life, help save a life, in the name of a life that was a victim of a senseless act of violence. If this cause saves one life, that will make this a priceless mission. Much Love to you John Miller.”
