New Hope Ministries Launches Community Outreach

Every Saturday night at 6 p.m., the doors swing open at NHM and welcome the community to Saturday Night Alive! Each week, a speaker shares their story of overcoming a major challenge in life. Speakers share stories of childhood trauma, addiction, or other challenges that have been conquered! After the guest speaker inspires us with a story of courage, the participants are offered the opportunity to join a recovery group, a personal financial management class, or other small group that addresses specific challenges. Friends and neighbors gather for coffee, conversations, and connections. All are welcome to come to New Hope and meet real people who genuinely care!

Our guest speaker is our very own Lorraine Whoberry, Executive Director of The Sharing H.O.P.E. at New Hope Ministry and The S.T.A.C.I.E. Foundation. Lorraine knows the trauma of being a homicide survivor to rising above the astigmatism of victim. The journey Lorraine has traveled has brought peace and healing from unique places, where she found forgiveness.

This presentation is unsuitable for children and young teens.
